High Street Sampling Where Everyone Walks
The high street is the broadest product sampling there is. No ticket, no membership, no barrier: whoever is in town that day walks past, which makes it the fastest way to put volume into hands and the bluntest way to reach a specific person.
That breadth is the trade. A pitch outside a busy store on a Saturday will out-hand almost any other setting, but the people taking it are simply the people who were there. If the product is for everybody, nothing beats it. If it is not, the audience needs choosing first.
Bookings are made per pitch, per day. You tell us the towns, the dates, the hours and how many people you want out, and a run of Saturdays across six towns is handled as one booking.
An itemised quote, usually within hours, with day rates, hours and on-costs listed for every town. No hidden fees, one invoice.
Assigned once the quote is signed off, with a project manager on the booking and 24/7 support while it runs.
Our operations team pick people on skills, experience and location, so the team knows which end of the high street is busy and which is dead.
Your briefing form becomes a tailored document covering the product USPs, the audience and the key messages, written for people who were not expecting you.
Right to work and ID verified. Employer and Public Liability cover on every campaign. DBS, food hygiene and risk assessments available on request.
We are the employer. PAYE, tax, National Insurance and HR are all handled in house.
Shift reminders, geo-tagged check-ins and live attendance monitoring, which matters when the hours that count are eleven to three.
Reporting with attendance confirmation, on-site photos and feedback, quoted alongside the staffing as an add-on.
Amazingly fast and efficient service. All ambassadors have had such positive feedback from clients and consumers.

What we supply
Five Jobs On A Town Centre Pitch
A high street brief comes down to whether the team stands still or moves, and whether anything is going up on the pavement. These are the five jobs.
Pavement Pitch Teams
A fixed position on an agreed piece of pavement, working the flow past it. The simplest format and the one most councils will license.
- A small footprint within the licensed pitch
- Handing over without obstructing the footway
- Working the peak trading hours rather than the full day
Suits: snacks, soft drinks, printed offers, app sign-ups
Branded Unit Crews
Where something goes up: a gazebo, a cart, a trike or a small stand. More presence, more stock, and a different permission because it occupies the street.
- Build, run and de-rig within the licensed footprint
- Higher stock volume than a carried format allows
- A visible brand cue that holds the position all day
Suits: launches, ice cream, hot drinks, seasonal pushes
Chilled Street Carriers
Cold chain on an open pavement, with no van alongside and no power. Insulated kit and a base point make it work through a full trading day.
- Insulated backpacks and cool boxes held at a base point
- Restocking without leaving the pitch unworked
- Food hygiene certification available on request
Suits: chilled drinks, dairy, iced coffee, yoghurts
Store Doorway Teams
Outside a specific shop rather than the street generally, driving people through one door. The permission comes from the retailer as well as the council.
- Positioned to convert passers-by into that store’s customers
- Agreed with the retailer, not just the local authority
- Timed to the store’s own trading peaks
Suits: store launches, retailer partnerships, stocked lines
Town Leads
Across several towns on the same day, an event manager or campaign lead handles the councils, the pitches and the day-to-day changes, and is your single point of contact.
- Confirming pitch, access and timings town by town
- Holding the brief consistent across every location
- Absorbing the changes so you are not fielding them

The Pavement Belongs To Someone
Public footway is the council’s, and most authorities license it by the pitch, by the day. Precincts and part-pedestrianised streets are often privately managed, which means a landowner instead. Both say no to campaigns that turn up without asking.
Where a permission is needed we arrange it. There are costs attached and they differ from council to council, so they are quoted alongside the staffing rather than buried in it.
Product sampling as a whole is set out on the main service page. Where the audience is narrower than everyone in town, tactical sampling picks the location from the audience instead, and where teams cover ground on foot rather than holding a pitch it is roaming sampling. Undercover from the weather, the equivalent is product sampling at shopping centres.
