What a planogram merchandiser does in store.
Six tasks that make up planogram work. A reset visit often combines several, and repeat cycles keep the same merchandiser on the same group of stores.
Facing and blocking rebuilds
Merchandisers count facings against the plan, restore product groupings and brand blocks, and set shelf heights so the right lines sit at eye level.
Range reviews and category resets
Full bay rebuilds on the retailer's reset date, often before opening or overnight, to the new category or space plan.
New listings and delists
Slotting new lines into position on launch, clearing delisted stock and noting any store where the space wasn't released.
Shelf-edge and POS to the layout

It means setting shelf heights, following the plan for product placement and counting facings rather than estimating them.
You send the planogram and the store list. We brief planogram merchandisers on the layout and the fixture rules, route them from the nearest hub. Sometimes the fixture differs or the store has made its own call. When a layout won't fit, the merchandiser records why instead of forcing it.

Is planogram merchandising part of a wider service?
Yes. It's one part of our retail merchandising service, which also covers point of sale installs, audits, range resets and visual merchandising. Most programmes combine several in one visit.
What happens when a bay can't be built to the plan?
The merchandiser builds as close to the plan as the fixture allows. They record why the rest didn't fit, so you see the exception rather than finding it on your next store visit.
Can the same merchandiser cover the same stores each cycle?
Yes, and it's what we recommend. Someone who knows the store and its team gets to the back stock faster and spots drift sooner.
Do you work for merchandising agencies?
Yes, white label, to the agency's planogram, brief and reporting template, covering stores its own field team can't reach.
Can you staff overnight or early resets?
Yes, where the retailer opens the store for it. Tell us the access times and we'll build the shifts around them.
What drives the cost of planogram merchandising?
The number of stores, how long each bay takes, how spread out the stores are, how often the cycle repeats and the reporting you need. We itemise each quote.
How much notice do you need for a reset?
We can often staff small runs at short notice. Book national resets a few weeks ahead so we can group stores into sensible runs.
