Campaign Snapshot
The Brief
Licence to Trace comes to Bluewater
National Pension Tracing Day, delivered by Secondsight with backing from across the UK pensions industry, helps people find pension pots they have lost track of. Its Licence to Trace campaign gives the subject a light hearted spy theme, and Bluewater Shopping Centre hosted its face to face pop-up.
Our brand ambassadors and event manager were briefed on a virtual call ahead of the day. The promotional staffing brief was simple: greet shoppers, explain the campaign in plain words and pass any real pension question to the experts on the stand.
On The Ground
How our team made it work
- ▸Invited passing shoppers into the Licence to Trace pop-up
- ▸Explained the campaign in clear, friendly terms
- ▸Introduced visitors to the on-site pension experts
- ▸Handed out Mission Cards with a QR code to the free tracing tools
- ▸Kept queues moving and the stand looking its best
- ▸Passed every regulated question straight to the experts
Why It Worked
A serious subject, a friendly first step
The spy theme gave every promotional brand ambassador an easy way to open a conversation most people would rather put off. For experiential staff, the job was to keep it light and get people talking to the right expert. A shopping centre activation with a public purpose, run with the same care as any brand activation we staff.
