Sports event staff.
We are a sports event staffing agency for fixtures, race meetings, arenas and endurance events. Football, rugby, racing, athletics, tournaments and finals, across the UK.
Supplying crowd facing teams who can hold their own in front of thirty thousand people and still be sharp at full time.
What is sports event staffing?
The team works the ground rather than a guest list. Gates, concourses, fan zones, paddocks and finish lines, wherever the crowd actually moves.
Booked by venues, operators, governing bodies and the brands activating around the fixture. One booking, one crew, one invoice.
Right to work checked and insured
ID and right to work confirmed before anyone goes near a gate.
Employer and Public Liability insurance on every fixture. DBS and risk assessments on request.
Briefed for the size of the crowd
Thirty seconds a person at a gate is a different job from two minutes in a shopping centre.
Teams are briefed for the volume and the pace, not just the message.
Drawn from the hub nearest the ground
Staff who know the city, the transport and the way in.
One of 40 UK hubs covers every major ground, circuit and racecourse.
The same faces across every date
On a fixture list or a multi day meeting we hold the same team wherever we can.
You brief once, and day three looks like day one.
Every matchday role the ground needs, in one team
Booked as one crew, briefed once, run by one person on the day.
Get a quote →Turnstile and entry teams
Working the approach and the gate line as the ground fills.
Welcoming, directing and handing out, at the pace a turnstile queue actually moves. Not stewarding and not security.
Concourse and fan zone teams
The hour before the whistle is when the concourse is busiest and nobody wants to miss the start.
Teams work the concourse and the fan zone in that window and clear it before the ground goes quiet.
Matchday sponsor teams
For the brand paying to be at the ground rather than the venue itself.
Pitchside and concourse activations, giveaways and sign ups, worked around the run of play rather than through it.
Race day and paddock teams
A race day has a rhythm: crowds move between each race and go still in between.
Teams work the paddock, the rails and the enclosures in the gaps, then get out of the way.
Start line and finish line teams
Bag drop, pen marshalling on the start line, and the finish funnel afterwards.
Finishers are tired, wet and slow moving, and the team is briefed for that.
Multi day and multi venue crews
Championships and cup competitions that run across days, or across several grounds on the same weekend.
Staffed from the hub nearest each venue, on one booking.
Fixture leads and on site managers
One named contact running the crew and dealing with the venue and the safety officer.
On every crew we send, at no extra cost.
Grounds, racecourses and arenas we have already worked
Briefed, staffed and managed by Executional.

From fixture list to crew on the gate
Four steps, whether it is one meeting or a whole season.
Send the fixtures
Ground, dates, call times and crew size.
Expected attendance and where in the ground you want them helps us size it properly.
Priced per date
Every fixture costed on its own line, so a season is not one number you cannot unpick.
Rates, hours and on-costs broken out, usually back the same working day.
Crew matched and briefed
An account manager comes on once the quote is signed off.
Your briefing form becomes a written brief covering the ground, the access route and who they report to.
Checked in on the day
Shift reminders, geo-tagged check-ins at the ground and live attendance monitoring before gates.
Invoiced afterwards. Attendance confirmation, photography and reporting are a paid extra.

Sports event staff questions
What we cover, what we are not, how a season is priced and where we can reach.
What sports do you staff?
Football, rugby union and league, horse racing, athletics and endurance, darts, boxing, motorsport, swimming and aquatics, and esports finals. Recent work includes Old Trafford, the O2 Arena, Cheltenham, Wetherby, Newbury and Newmarket, the Mattioli Woods Stadium in Leicester and the FA Walking Football Cup. If the crowd has come to watch something, it is a booking we take.
Do you supply stewards or security?
No. Stewarding and security at a regulated ground are licensed roles and they sit with your safety officer and your accredited supplier, not with us. What we supply is promotional calibre crowd facing staff: the people welcoming, directing, handing out, activating and signing up. We would rather be clear about that line than take a booking we should not.
Can you cover a whole fixture list or season?
Yes, and it is the better way to book. Send the fixture list and every date is priced on its own line so you can see what each one costs and drop or add dates later. We hold the same crew across the run wherever availability allows, which means the brief is given once rather than every other Saturday.
Do you work for venues, brands or governing bodies?
All three, and they want different things. A venue or an operator wants the crowd moved and looked after. A sponsor wants to be noticed without getting in the way of the sport. A governing body running a competition wants the same standard at nine grounds on the same weekend. The crew is briefed to whichever one of those is paying.
What about hospitality boxes and corporate guests?
That is a different booking. Once you are inside a box with an invited guest list, the buyer is a company hosting its own people and the work is covered on our corporate event staff page. This page is the ground and the crowd. The two are often booked together for the same fixture and quoted as one job.
Can you hand out product at a fixture?
Yes, though if handing out product is the whole point of the campaign rather than part of a wider matchday presence, our sports event product sampling page is the right place to start. It covers the mechanics of getting stock to a ground and volume through a crowd.
How much does sports event staffing cost, and how far ahead should I book?
There is no flat rate. It moves on crew size, which roles, how early the call time is, how far after full time you need them, and the city. On timing, the fixed points in the calendar are the tight ones: a festival meeting, a cup final weekend or a marathon pulls every available crew in that city onto the same date. Book those as early as the fixture is confirmed. A midweek fixture is usually workable at short notice.
Where in the UK do you supply sports event staff?
Every major ground, circuit and racecourse in the country, from 40 hubs. The heaviest coverage runs through our London event staff, Manchester event staff, Birmingham event staff, Leeds promotional staff and Edinburgh promotional staff teams.
