Pho, a renowned Vietnamese restaurant brand with locations across the UK, embarked on an inventive initiative this December with the launch of The Pho Fix. This pop-up store aimed to provide a delicious and effective solution to the common festive season dilemma: hangovers.
The Pho Fix offered a unique blend of hot spicy Pho soups, known for their medicinal properties, fresh juices, and an IV drip station, all designed to alleviate the aftereffects of seasonal celebrations. This concept was particularly relevant during the busy Christmas period, a time rife with parties and festive indulgence. The Pho Fix wasn’t confined to a single city; it was a nationwide endeavour, spreading its hangover-curing prowess across major UK cities including London, Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Leicester, Bournemouth, and Lincoln. This widespread presence ensured a broad impact, catering to party-goers and festive revellers across the country.
As ‘Pho Doctors’, our team members donned doctor’s jackets and engaged with the public on the streets, holding signs that read ‘FREE HANGOVER CURES’. This playful and interactive approach was instrumental in drawing passersby into the pop-up. In addition to street engagement, the team also managed the IV Drip station inside, taking names and coordinating the unique experience for guests.
