The Brief
Beat The Brain On Manchester’s Busiest Street
Thursday afternoon on Market Street, one of Manchester’s busiest shopping thoroughfares. Directly opposite the Arndale. Museum of Illusions right there next to Tesco. Our brand ambassadors supported the Museum of Illusions on a high-street awareness and footfall push, working the pavement with the client’s 50% student discount voucher and running an interactive leaderboard for the crowds passing by.
Across a 7-hour shift, our two-person team ran a dual-role activation: one on leaflet distribution to Market Street shoppers with the student discount, one manning the “Beat The Brain” colour challenge on the easel, timing participants racing to say the colour they saw, not the word they read. They swapped roles across the day to keep both the leaflets moving and the leaderboard fresh, with three winning pairs of free MOI tickets going to the day’s fastest brains at close of play.
