The brief
Arla Protein wanted to put its protein products in the hands of people who would value them most: runners finishing 10ks, half marathons and marathons at Run For All events across the North.
The aim was brand awareness and future purchase, with tens of thousands of chilled samples to distribute.

What we did
We supplied product sampling staff with a real interest in fitness, so every conversation about the product's benefits came from people who knew what runners need.
We also handled the kit and the logistics: fully branded gazebos, usherette trays and sampling bins, plus storage, transport and delivery of chilled samples to every event. An event manager and an assistant ran each live event.

How it ran
- Sampling: an average of 5,000 chilled samples handed out at each event.
- Competition: a competition element gave runners another reason to stop at the stand.
- Early starts: our head office managed staff around the clock, so teams were ready for early morning set-ups.
- Waste: samples and waste were handled properly to keep each site clean.
Every event was photographed, and the results went into a bespoke online client report.
