Costume Staff

We provide costume staff all over the UK. Some of our biggest clients use us for our costume staff members who regularly work across the country, acting as some of the country’s best-loved television characters, sports mascots and brand mascots.

A Specialist Role

Any staff member that wears a themed costume or a full-body mascot suit falls under our Tier 2 category, as this is considered a specialist role. Our costume staff have worked in costume roles for a number of years, and have a way of bringing their characters to life. One day our staff members might be acting as Peppa Pig in a full-body costume, the next dressed as a pirate with an eye patch and hook to boot.

Themed Promotional Staff

Themed promotional staff are staff members who would dress up as a range of different characters. In the past, our staff have dressed up as everything from wizards, mummies and zombies for Halloween, to elves, snowmen and even the main man himself, Santa Claus over the Christmas period.

Mascots For Sporting Events

When it comes to sporting events, especially football and rugby, team mascots play a key role in the game experience. Some supporters even believe they bring good luck to the sports team they represent. Our staff members have represented Leeds Rhinos, The Olympics, and the England Lionesses. They are energetic and really know how to get the crowd going, skipping across pitches, encouraging the crowds and bringing an air of excitement to the events.

Mascots In Shopping Centres

Lots of shopping centres have their own mascots, including the Fort Shopping Centre Birmingham, which have Frankie the Fort Fox regularly making appearances, collecting money for charity and giving treats to families and visitors to the centre. We regularly have staff visiting The Entertainer toy stores in shopping centres all over the country, dressing as Jack, The Entertainer mascot, and Lego superheroes Batman and Robin to promote their new store launches. This goes down a treat and we usually provide brand ambassadors to leaflet and chaperone the mascots too. Most malls also have a grotto set up at Christmas time, with Santa and his elves there to meet and greet children and their families, take part in photographs and hand out presents.

Mascots for Experiential Campaigns

We’ve worked on many experiential campaigns, tours and roadshows that have used a brand mascot to generate attention, meet and greet passersby and encourage people to stop and interact with their event. Just a handful of the brands we’ve worked with are Megabus, Muller, Riemann P20 and Krispy Kreme, working both indoors and outdoors to bring smiles to customers’ faces through the use of interactive costume characters.

Mascots At Events And Exhibitions

Although exhibitions aren’t the first place you would expect to find a costumed character, they’re actually a great draw to bring people to your stand. Previously we’ve provided costume staff for Lego, The Caravan Club at the National Caravan Camping and Motorhome Show, and The Entertainer. We have also done lots of work at county shows with a number of brands, but mostly with Redrow Homes who are a long-standing client of ours. Our staff regularly visit shows and schools as Buster and Buddy, the Redrow mascots.

Checks And Precautions

When requested, we ensure that our costume staff are fully DBS checked in to cover our staff and event attendees. When characters are in full costume, it is imperative they have a chaperone with them at all times. This can be a member of the client team, or we can provide a chaperone to assist.
