At EXECUTIONAL our tactical product sampling activity is different, we use this technique to closely target our roaming product sampling campaigns. As an example, we would implement tactical roaming teams to sample products to commuters as they leave the train station and walk into work. Where this is very targeted it still falls within council legislation but offers customers a cheaper alternative to purchasing indoor space within train stations.

Planning Tactical Product Sampling

Tactical product sampling techniques can be used in a variety of other locations, examples such as entrances and exits to university campuses, outside of entrances to shopping centres or retail spaces.

Too often (in our opinion) tactical sampling used to avoid official permission costs to be within events. These events such as music festivals often demand high permission costs based on the volume focussed gathering of people attending. In these scenarios, EXECUTIONAL would always advise sanctioned event product sampling for maximum impact. Your account manager will advise on the right form of sampling and where tactical product sampling is relevant this would be used.

Implementing Your Tactical Product Sampling

Our tactical product samplers are all experienced promotional staff who are accustomed to sampling in this manner. They understand the need to be proactive at all times and all weather conditions to maximise the sample distribution rates. They will be overseen by a more experienced team leader who will be in charge of sample stock and maintain sample distribution volumes.
