Commuter Links

A very popular booking is within and outside of major commuter links; including train, tube and bus stations.
We operate within two categories for this type of activity, simply inside or out, which is really a case of budget!
Inside
You cannot simply rollout to a train station and start handing out promotional materials. To organise activity inside of a train station or any station for that matter needs slightly more thought!
This activity can be expensive due to the permissions and fees which need to be paid to the event space organisers of the train station concourses. We as an agency or you as a client would need to pay a fee to be within the train stations. This depends on the duration, how busy the train station is and also what you intend on doing there. We usually take the headaches out of this process with our clients and liaise with the relevant agencies to secure a deal and also to process the administration side, things such as logistics, risk assessments etc need to be taken care of.
Once this is done however, you have access to the high footfall station concourses which is why you wanted to be there in the first place!
Outside
As mentioned within our nationwide licensing page, promotional activity within city centres need to be executed under the terms of the local council licence requirements. So, with that taken care of, executing activity outside of the train station rather than in becomes a very real option. Ok, so the teams are not going to be stood in the doorway but can be positioned metres away from the station. This avoids the permission costs (which can be very high) and still targets the same people. After all the commuters are not in the station all day!
This is more relevant for some campaigns than others but still provides a promotional team distributing or sampling products targeting people outside of the train or tube stations. This is something to consider when you do not have an unlimited budget or for that matter cannot see the extra value in being inside the station.
The best way to discuss this is to speak to one of our account managers and they can talk you through the processes involved in this type of promotional activity.
